Pictures! Pictures! Pictures! | |
| Our Old cookhouse shed built about 1912 same as the house. The tree is still up in the window from Christmas and turned it back on ...thought it would look cool in the snow. When I rebuilt the new tin room this past summer it went up and above the chimney so you see the long ladder up against it where I started laying bricks to bring it back up over the roof line. There's a huge fireplace in there and we like to build fires out there! |
| From our back corner deck. |
| That's our cat Elvis in the Window. |
| And latest addition to the family Gracie. |
| And our cat Angel from the window. If she got loose out in the snow you would never see her! LOL |
| That tree in the foreground is the sappling from Elvis' Weeping Willow out by the Graceland Wall on the Right. We have 2 of them and both are really doing great now especially since we moved them from the planters out by the front walkway and put them out in the yard. These are going to be really cool Weeping Willows one day and even cool given the fact they are genetically part of Graceland! |
| I've never seen a cookhouse shed before....Was it used to smoke meats, or store vegetables?.Looks like it's in great shape for being that old. |
| Very pretty! I'll bet this looks amazing in the summertime too. |
| Waving back at Cheryl. Is that a bedroom window? |
| I think they used it to cook, wash, and anything else where they needed hot water and a big fireplace. Inside the house are only small coal burning fireplaces.
Yes that's our bedroom. |
 | Looks really pretty, but I'm sick of snow here. We've had a foot and more with some drifts. |
| Gracie and Elvis wanna go play in the snow? |
| Cheryl wants to go play too? |
 | Those snow pictures look good in your yard. This winter we haven't had much snow which is strange. Last week the sun was shinning bare roads and no snow on the hillsides. Seems like we have skipped Feb and have gone straight to March.Hope I'm not speaking too soon, we might be in for a real last blast of winteryet to come. |
| Hi Cheyl I can see you waving .. haha you're in the best place !! |
 | With this weather, it would be a great time to build a fire & toast some marshmallows - - yum!
|
 | This might be Gracie's first year to see snow?
|
 | Very cool how the little snowflakes showed up in this one
|
 | I like the froggies, they look very content there by the Christmas tree
|
